THE BOOK “THE CONTRIBUTION OF JAIN LITERATURE TO INDIAN ASTROLOGY” RELEASED

ARA----------------------------The book, "The Contribution of Jain Literature to Indian Astrology," was released at the Circuit House, Ara, under the guidance of Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Chairman of the Bihar Legislative Council. This book was written by Dr. Baban Chaubey, who works as a lecturer in the Prakrit Department at STSM Panwari College.

Following the renowned astrologer and scholar of Prakrit Jain scriptures, five other enterprising authors have conducted similar research on Jain astrology in all the universities of India. Dr. Baban Chaubey holds the fifth position among them.

Dr. Baban Chaubey was born into a middle-class Brahmin family, his ancestral village being in PO-Bihta, Thana-Imad, District Bhojpur, Bihar. His mother was the late Mandodara Devi, a teacher. Considering her as his guide, he dedicated this book to his mother upon its release.

Chief Guest Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh along with Dr. Surendra Narayan Singh, Dr. Manju Bala Singh, Dr. Vishwanath Choudhary, Shushmalata, Dr. Dama Nidhi Singh (Principal Women's Section), Ajay Kumar Singh, Prachiya Singh, Rajesh Kumar Singh, MTSM College Panwari Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Dr. Nirendra Singh, Dr. Yogendra Sita, Dr. Gupteshwar Singh, Bachchu Ji, Dhananjay Pandey, Saurav Pandey, Shivarant Pandey, Vivek Choubey, Abhishek Chove and many others were present on the occasion.
