THE 10-DAY RAMLILA CELEBRATIONS COMMENCED

ARA------------------------Under the aegis of the 400-year-old Nagar Ramlila Samiti, artists from Varanasi staged the Ramlila, depicting the atrocities of demons and the birth of Shri Ram. The program began with the lighting of lamps and aarti by members of the organization and chief guest Dr. K.N. Sinha. The guests were then welcomed and honored with robes. Thousands of spectators had come to witness the Ramlila. Sonu Rai, president of the organization, stated that our young generation should follow the ideals of Ram to ensure a successful life. Vice president Sanjeev Gupta welcomed the audience and urged everyone to make the event a success. The audience was moved by the performance by the troupe from Kashi, Varanasi. After Ram's birth, the atmosphere became filled with devotion with chants of "Jai Shri Ram." To make this program successful, the members of the organization requested everyone to actively cooperate in this program. All the members of Roti Bank participated in this program. The stage was conducted by Dilip Gupta.
