ARA------------------------The political atmosphere has heated up ahead of the final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. NDA star campaigner and BJP National President JP Nadda addressed a massive public meeting at the Daulatpur Sports Ground in the Barhara Assembly constituency of Bhojpur district. Upon arriving on stage, he fiercely targeted the opposition and highlighted the development plans of the central and state governments. The large crowd at the rally filled the entire ground with electoral enthusiasm.
Beginning his speech, Nadda said that he first pays homage to the ancient Kali Temple and Veer Kunwar Singh. He said that this election is a decisive opportunity to make Bihar a developed state. Bihar's development journey has been on track since 2005, and now it must be taken forward. He warned that the period from 1990 to 2005 was like a new moon night. Taking a dig at the Grand Alliance, he said that it was the Thug Alliance and the Lath Alliance that kept Bihar in the lantern era, while the NDA brought it into the LED era.
In his address, he mentioned the major fundamental changes in Bihar, saying that previously, there was a one-lane bridge in Koilwar, now there is a six-lane bridge. Previously, roads and expressways were a dream, but today there is highway, railway, and fast internet everywhere. He stated that the Patna-Sasaram Expressway and Metro projects are the hallmarks of Bihar's new era. Regarding women, he said that after the elections, every woman will receive a benefit of two lakh rupees. Referring to health schemes, he said that 62 crore people are being provided assistance of up to 5 lakh rupees for the treatment of serious diseases.
Nadda said that 20 years ago, one had to pay ten rupees to charge a mobile phone, but today every village has electricity and internet. He stated that more than 8,000 panchayats have been connected to the internet, the railway budget for Bihar has increased 10-fold, and 98 railway stations are being modernized under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He also mentioned that a 1,400-crore international airport is being built in Bihta and a 1,200-crore AIIMS in Darbhanga.
Nadda launched a scathing attack on the RJD, saying that the RJD stands for extortion, jungle raj, and bullying. He recalled that Lalu Prasad Yadav held the "Oil Pilavan Lathiyan Bhajavan" rally in 2003. Nadda said those who committed the land scam in exchange for jobs are now misleading the public in a new packaging. Tejashwi Yadav promises he will provide jobs, but how? His politics is now confined to jail and bail. Lalu, Rabri, Tejashwi, and Misa are all on bail.
