ARA-------------------------With only a few days remaining for the nomination process for the first phase of the assembly elections for all seven seats in Bhojpur district, no major party or alliance has yet finalized a candidate for the Shahpur seat. Consequently, speculation continues to swirl among potential Shahpur candidates and voters preparing to contest the election.

While candidates are concerned about the lack of announcement of their names, their supporters are also unhappy. The question of who will receive the ticket remains a mystery, with numerous names being discussed, leading to speculation. So far, Madan Yadav has been announced by the Janshakti Janata Dal.

However, upon receiving a signal from the party, local MLAs have begun preparations and are extending nomination invitations to their constituents. However, neither the NDA nor the All India Alliance has finalized a candidate for the Shahpur seat. As a result, people are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the names. Discussions are rife among the public as to when the party candidates will be announced. However, it is expected that the names of the candidates will be made public today.

There is a fierce competition for tickets from major parties in the Bihar Assembly elections. Each seat has multiple contenders from all parties in the NDA and the Grand Alliance. However, it is now clear which party will win most of the seats in Bhojpur district. However, some seats remain uncertain. As such, ticket contenders are desperately trying their best. Meanwhile, some contenders are beginning to concede defeat in some seats. Consequently, people believe that securing a ticket before winning the election is no less than a significant victory.

JDU is expected to contest three seats in the NDA, while the BJP is expected to contest four. JDU candidates are likely to contest three seats in the district: Sandesh, Jagdishpur, and Agiaon. Four seats in the district, Tarari, Ara, Barhara, and Shahpur, are likely to remain in the BJP's quota. While a candidate for Tarari is considered certain, several other names are being discussed for the Ara, Barhara, and Shahpur seats.

The Grand Alliance is set to see RJD and CPI(ML) contest three seats each: The CPI(ML) candidates have been finalized for three of the district's seven seats: Ara, Agiaon, and Tarari. RJD's Deepu Ranawat has been named for the Sandesh seat. The Shahpur seat is also considered a surety. The Jagdishpur seat remains in the RJD's quota, but the candidate for the seat is not yet finalized. Besides the RJD, Congress and VIP are also reportedly staking claim to the Barhara seat.
