ARA----------------------------Students from Piro +2 High School brought laurels to the school throughout the district with their outstanding performances in the district-level role play and folk dance competition held at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Pirota, Bhojpur. Both teams from the school achieved second place through their talent, dedication, and discipline. This achievement has brought joy and excitement to the school community. Led by the school's acting principal, Bhim Rai, and assistant teacher, Rinku Kumari, two teams from the school participated in the competition—one role play team and the other folk dance team.

The role play team gave an excellent presentation on the sensitive and socially important topic of "HIV and Reproductive Health." Through their performances, the students conveyed a message of social awareness, which was highly appreciated by the judges. The team consisted of Ayushi Kumari, Aanchal Kumari, Amrita Kumari, Ujjwal Kumar, and Pritam Kumar. The team was jointly prepared by teachers Prakash Chandra Ojha, Brajmohan Pathak, and Arun Kumar Mishra. Under his guidance, the students paid special attention to every detail of the role play, resulting in this resounding success.

The folk dance team presented a captivating dance performance on the theme of "Environmental Awareness." The performance, adorned with colorful costumes and captivating expressions, captivated the audience. Akriti Kumari, Sonali Kumari, Durga Kumari, Soni Kumari, and Chandni Kumari participated in the dance. The team was prepared by school teachers Rinku Kumari, Jaya Kumari, Sabiha Khatoon, Preeti Kumari, Anju Kumari, and Ragini Chaudhary. Former student Anup Kumar Roshan assisted the students with special dance tips, for which the students and teachers expressed their gratitude.

The school celebrated the resounding success of both teams. All the teachers congratulated the winning students with sweets and wished them a bright future.

“The students of our school have immense talent. We are committed to providing them with a platform at every level. In the future, our goal is to achieve national recognition for the school.”

He congratulated all the teachers and students on this success and said that such events not only hone talent but also boost students' self-confidence.

Piro Block Education Officer Manoj Kumar also heartily congratulated the winning team from Piro +2 High School. He said –

“Through their hard work and dedication, the students of the school have proven that even children from rural areas are no less when given the opportunity. This achievement is a matter of pride for the entire block.”

The teachers, parents, and students of the school described this achievement as the result of the school's collective hard work. They said that such competitions not only integrate education with culture but also sensitize children to social issues.
