STUDENT SHOT IN FRONT OF FATHER OVER LOVE AFFAIR

ARA--------------------------------A shocking incident has come to light from Demahan village of Udwantnagar police station area of the district late on Sunday evening, where a student was shot in front of his father over a love affair. This sensational incident has spread sensation in the entire area. The injured student has been identified as Divya Prakash Singh, 22-year-old son of Dharmendra Pratap Singh, who is an intermediate student.

Divya Prakash was shot in his left hand, after which the family hurriedly admitted him to the hospital for treatment. It is being told that the attackers carried out this incident by laying an ambush beforehand and fled from the spot.

Divya Prakash's father Dharmendra Pratap Singh, who is a fourth class employee in Koderma Civil Court of Jharkhand, was present with his son at the time of the incident. He told that on Sunday evening he was returning home from Gadhani Market with his son Divya and a friend. As soon as they reached near Demahan village, the miscreants who were already lying in ambush started firing. The bullet hit Divya's hand and he was seriously injured.

While talking to the media in the hospital, the injured student Divya Prakash said that he has been in love with a girl from a nearby village for the last 4 years. The two first met in the market, after which gradually a love affair developed between them. But the girl's family, especially her brother Prince Golu and uncle, were very angry with this love affair.

Divya said that earlier also Prince and his uncle had threatened to kill him, and now they have openly carried out that threat. Divya also says that Prince Golu was also among the attackers and he fired the bullet.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, Udwantnagar police station in-charge Jaiprakash Singh reached the spot with the police force and took stock of the situation. The police station in-charge has confirmed that the matter is related to a love affair and prima facie this incident has happened due to old enmity and love affair.

He said that on the basis of the statement of the injured, the named accused are being searched. The police will soon arrest the accused. At present, the entire matter is being investigated thoroughly.

After the incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. The villagers have expressed concern over increasing crime and violent tendencies among the youth. At the same time, the police administration has demanded that strict action should be taken in such cases so that the tendency of violence among the youth over love affairs can be curbed.
