A tragic road accident took place on Saturday evening on Bihta-Bihiya State Highway 102 in Ara, Bihar. A high speed Scorpio lost control and overturned on the middle of the road near Tenduni turn in Jagdishpur police station area, in which the owner cum driver of the Scorpio died on the spot, while two others were seriously injured.

ARA----------------------------A tragic road accident took place on Saturday evening on Bihta-Bihiya State Highway 102 in Ara, Bihar. A high speed Scorpio lost control and overturned on the middle of the road near Tenduni turn in Jagdishpur police station area, in which the owner cum driver of the Scorpio died on the spot, while two others were seriously injured.

The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Munna Singh (son of late Ashok Singh), resident of Bangwa village in Gadhani police station area. At the same time, the injured include 28-year-old Pappu Kumar, resident of Nahsi village in Gadhani police station area and 33-year-old Aman Mahavir Singh, resident of Gadhani station.

According to the information, Munna Singh, Pappu Kumar and Aman Mahavir Singh were going towards Piro in Scorpio on Saturday evening. His Scorpio suddenly went out of control near the primary school near Tenduni turn and overturned on the road after turning four-five times.

Eyewitnesses said that when the people nearby reached the spot, Munna Singh had died on the spot. Pappu Kumar and Aman Mahavir Singh were found seriously injured.

With the help of villagers, both the injured were immediately taken to Jagdishpur Referral Hospital. After first aid there, they were referred to Sadar Hospital for better treatment. Due to this incident, there was chaos on the highway for some time.

On receiving information about the accident, the relatives of the deceased reached Dulaur Sub-Divisional Hospital, after which the body was brought to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
