ARA------------------------Following the seizure of a large consignment of smack in Bhojpur, police investigations have intensified. Efforts have been initiated to identify and apprehend the smugglers supplying smack. The smugglers' network is being investigated through mobile phones. Three smugglers from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are also under police scrutiny. They have been identified through mobile numbers recovered from the arrested smugglers. These include suppliers and liners/facilitators in the delivery of drugs. Police are currently investigating the three.

According to reports, the FIR registered by the police also names three smugglers from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. However, due to the ongoing investigation, the police are refraining from disclosing these smugglers' names. Based on the statement of the Geedha police station in-charge, the FIR has been filed against the four arrested smugglers from Bhojpur, as well as three individuals from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

It is being reported that smugglers purchase smack from Rajasthan. It is then supplied to Bhojpur through smugglers from Madhya Pradesh. According to police sources, Rahul Kumar, a resident of Deoria village in the Babura police station area, has connections with smugglers from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The smack recovered from the Geedha and Babura police station areas on Thursday was being brought at Rahul's behest.

It should be noted that on Thursday morning, following information from the STF, a police team led by Sadar SDPO 2 Ranjit Kumar Singh recovered approximately 3.075 kg of smack, six mobile phones, eight ATM cards, two PAN cards, a car, four registration numbers, a driving license, and Rs 2,400 in cash from the Geedha underpass and Babura areas.

Four smugglers were also arrested. They included Rahul Singh, a resident of Deoria village in the Babura police station area, Vishal Kumar, a resident of Balua village in the Krishnagarh police station area, Arun Kumar, a resident of Chhotki Sasaram in the Gajrajganj OP area, and Abhishek Pandit, a resident of Ranisagar in the Shahpur police station area, who lives in Maulabagh in Ara.

Vishal Kumar, Arun Kumar, and Abhishek Pandit were arrested from a car near Geedha Underground, while Rahul Singh was arrested from his home. Smack was recovered from the car and Rahul Singh's home.
