ARA----------------------------One Sub-Inspector was killed when his car collided head-on with a truck near Intwa Mor under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur district in the morning while the truck driver was injured. The deceased was identified as Md. Jalaaluddin 52 of Sato Simari Dudhi Patti under Simari police station in Buxar district. He was posted in the traffic police station in Bhojpur district at present and he lived in his house at Waligant under Ara Town police station. While the injured truck driver was identified as Rajesh Kumar of Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh. Later the police recovered the body and broutht it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for postmortem and admitted the injured there. An FIR has been lodged with the police under Shahpur police station and the police are investigating the matter.

Irfan son of the deceased said that his father Md. Jalaluddin was going to his native village driving the car himself when the incident occurred. He said that he was earlier posted in Patna and at present he was posted at Ara and now he was transferred to Saran district and within a week he had to take charge there.
