ARA--------------------------Five police stations in Bhojpur, Bihar, including the Dhangai and Women's Police Stations, have received new Station House Officers. Superintendent of Police Raj appointed these station officers, which had been vacant for nearly a fortnight.

Five police stations in Bhojpur, including the Dhangai and Women's Police Stations, have received new Station House Officers. Superintendent of Police Raj appointed these station officers, which had been vacant for nearly a fortnight. All the officers appointed Station House Officers are of the Inspector-level. Most of them have recently come to Bhojpur from other districts through district-level transfers.

According to the Superintendent of Police, Sub-Inspector Kumari Sakshita has been appointed as the new Station House Officer of the Women's Police Station. Inspector Vikas Kumar Singh has been given charge of Hasan Bazaar, Jairam Shukla of Chauri, and Vishwajeet Kumar of Dhangai. Meanwhile, Mahendra Kumar Paswan, the in-charge Station House Officer of Azimabad Police Station, has been appointed Station House Officer there.

According to police sources, Vikas Kumar Singh, Jairam Shukla and Vishwajeet Kumar have come to Bhojpur from Rohtas. All three are sub-inspectors of the 2018 batch. Let us tell you that recently, due to the elections, the sub-inspectors of the 2018 batch, who were posted in the same district for five years, were transferred to other districts.

In that sequence, 34 sub-inspectors including about a dozen station heads of Bhojpur were transferred. Due to this, the post of station head was lying vacant in some police stations. In view of this, the SP has posted new station head officers in five police stations for better law and order, crime control and administrative ease.
