This was a low point in Shivanand Tiwari's political career, where he consistently attempted to polarize by inciting emotions. Yet, he lost the election to Munni Devi.

Now, instead of addressing real public issues, his son Rahul Tiwari is rehashing past controversies. This time, he will lose to Rakesh Ojha. He should understand that the era of winning elections by raising emotional issues is over. People from every section of society are now educated. People have mobile phones in their hands, which allow them to quickly search on Google. The full explanation of the "moustache incident" mentioned by Rahul Tiwari is that these false stories were spread during the election to ensure that Shivanand Tiwari received the full votes of the Yadav community.
