Head of the Department, Professor Kundan Kumar Singh, invited the renowned social worker as the chief speaker. He welcomed the chief guest and described the importance of human rights. On this occasion, a special documentary, Musahar, was shown to the students.

ARA--------------------------A program was organized in the Political Science Department of Veer Kunwar Singh University on International Human Rights Day. Head of the Department, Professor Kundan Kumar Singh, invited the renowned social worker as the chief speaker. He welcomed the chief guest and described the importance of human rights. On this occasion, a special documentary, Musahar, was shown to the students.
The program was conducted by JRF Vinod Kumar Yadav. Important topics such as the importance of human rights, current global challenges, and the role of youth were discussed. Following this, Dr. Manoj Kumar discussed the history of human rights, current and future global challenges, and the importance of human rights.
He stated that human rights are a fundamental need of humanity. The chief speaker, shared his inspiring social journeys and experiences related to human rights protection with the students and teachers. He discussed rights and duties in detail and explained to the students the importance of discipline and duty in life.
He praised the disciplined students of the department and also shared his experiences from LBSNAA (Mussoorie) with the students. He described the pathetic condition of the Musahar community and informed them about the steps taken for their education, health, and employment. He said that a sense of morality should be maintained in society.
Finally, JRFs (research scholars) Jyoti Prakash, Aman Kumar, Akib Murtaza, Sudhir Kumar Pandey, and Sonu Kumar, while giving the vote of thanks, called upon everyone to understand and internalize human rights on the occasion of Human Rights Day. Other students including Suraj Singh, Prakash, Vikash, Anirudh, Amarjeet Prabhash, Ujjwal, Alka, Anubhuti, etc., also participated in the program. The program concluded with the national anthem.
