SANITATION WORKERS ARE UNBALE TO COLLECT GARBAGE REGULARLY

BHABHUA------------------------Due to the lack of door-to-door garbage collection, filth has spread throughout the village. As part of the Swachh Bihar Page 2 initiative, door-to-door garbage collection is not being conducted in all the selected villages of the Panchayat in Rampur block. As a result, villagers are throwing their household waste everywhere. Consequently, the streets and roads are littered with filth. Video Drishti Pathak held several meetings and issued strict instructions to take action in this direction, but his instructions are not being followed. Kharenda, Belav, Pashai, Amavan, Jalalpur, Bhitari Bandh, and Barkagaon in Rampur block have been selected for door-to-door garbage collection under Swachh Mission 2. Bhardwaj Bind of Kharenda village stated that due to lack of proper monitoring by the responsible officer, sanitation workers are being negligent in collecting garbage. While dustbins have been provided to the villagers, two sanitation workers have been appointed per ward. Apart from handcarts and rickshaws, other resources have also been made available for cleaning. Lakhs of rupees have been spent on these things but they are not being used properly. It was told that for the success of this campaign, sanitation workers and supervisors have been deployed. Due to lack of garbage collection in Ward No. 1 and 2 of Kharenda Panchayat, heaps of garbage are spread at the intersections.
