SASARAM-----------------------In the light of the railway help received from Security Control Room DDU, after arrival of train number 12875 Up Nilanchal Express at platform number 02 of Dehri on Son station, on reaching coach number-H1 of the train, the officer on duty Assistant Sub Inspector Jai Prakash Chaturvedi along with the staff attended and found that constable 598 Raj Kishore Kumar, lady constable 430 Guddi Kumari and lady constable 735 Neetu Kumari of the escort team of Railway Police Station Sasaram deployed in the train were already present there, in front of whom, on asking the passenger traveling on berth number 10 of the said coach, he told his name and address as Sunil Kumar Madho Prasad Mistry, age – about 32 years, son Madho Prasad Vishwakarma, resident Chandapur, Police Station Korana, District- Bhadohi (Uttar Pradesh), present address- 1440 Nav Durga Nagar, Vijal Core Ero Navsari, Surat (Gujarat) 396450 and when the said person was asked about the items kept in the bags with him, then first he said He was startled but when the policemen came forward to check him, he told the truth and said that he had ganja in his bag, which he said was to be taken from Tata Nagar to Mirzapur. By then the said train had left and departed for its destination. Since the incident spot was Dehri on Sone, for legal proceedings the said person along with his luggage was deboarded at the next stop of the train i.e. Sasaram station with the help of the escort team of Railway Police Station Sasaram deployed in the train and was brought to Dehri on Sone by the first vehicle where Inspector in charge Ram Vilas Ram, Sub Inspector Manoj Kumar along with officers and jawans found the case to be of narcotics and attended to the area officer Shri Avinash Kumar (gazetted officer) by calling him on the spot. While taking legal action in his presence, the bags he was carrying were searched and 05 bundles wrapped in brown cello tape were recovered from his black checkered bag and 02 bundles wrapped in brown cello tape were recovered from his black checkered bag. Total weight of 07 bundles is 13 kg 970 grams, whose estimated cost is Rs. 2,80,000/- (two lakh eighty thousand rupees). Following all the legal procedures in this regard, the ganja recovered from him was seized and he was arrested after being informed about his involvement in the crime of smuggling of illegal ganja. After all the paperwork on the spot, he was handed over to the Government Railway Police Station Dehri on Sone for further action along with a complaint letter given by Assistant Sub Inspector Jai Prakash Chaturvedi, Railway Protection Force Post-Dehri on Sone.
