BUXAR--------------------------The long-pending road construction project from Madwa village to Jagdara in Sadar block is now nearing completion. Officials from the Rural Works Department conducted a site inspection. Seeing the road construction underway for the first time since independence, villagers are filled with excitement and joy.
Local youth activist Vindesh Singh, also known as Raja Babu, explained that due to the lack of a road, villagers faced significant difficulties in commuting, educating their children, going to the market, and the hospital. He had raised this issue several times, and now hopes for a solution have been raised.
Rural Works Department Executive Engineer Ranvijay Kumar Singh stated that this demand had been pending for a long time. The department has begun preparations at all levels to expedite the construction process. During the inspection, the condition of the land was thoroughly examined to avoid any further disputes. The engineer praised the villagers' decision to offer their private land for road construction when government land was unavailable. The assistant engineer, junior engineer, and local resident Vindesh Singh were also present during the inspection. Officials conducted a geographical assessment of the site and assured them that with the villagers' cooperation, there was no possibility of any obstacles to the construction work. Villagers expressed that the road would facilitate easy access to agricultural produce markets and ensure normal traffic flow even during the rainy season.
Young social worker Vindesh Singh, also known as Raja Babu, said that as preparations for road construction began in the village, people were excited. Expressing gratitude to the government and the department, the villagers said this would be a major step towards development and would play a significant role in transforming the village.
