ARA---------------------------After the first phase of voting in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, the strong room is being monitored under tight security. Meanwhile, Lalu Prasad Yadav's RJD party has questioned the Election Commission's functioning and shared videos, making serious allegations. The RJD has demanded increased strong room security.
Indeed, two posts have been shared one after the other on RJD's official social media platform, 'X'. The first post states that the CCTV camera in the Samastipur strong room was out for half an hour! The Election Commission and local administration are corrupt and use frivolous excuses like power outages, battery failure, the TV going into sleep mode, and the generator not being available. Your credibility and integrity are zero! Stop these #VoteStealing tactics!
Meanwhile, in another post, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) shared a video, which states that some suspicious individuals were seen entering the strong room of the Mohiuddin Nagar Assembly constituency in Samastipur. @ECISVEEP @CEOBihar, please clarify the situation: who these suspicious individuals were and what were they doing inside the Brajgriha? Stay alert, stay vigilant. An outsider vote-robber has been sitting in Bihar for the past several days, colluding with some anti-Bihar elements to steal votes from Bihar, the mother of democracy.
Previously, serious questions were raised about the security arrangements at the strong room in Vaishali district. The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) posted a video on social media claiming that the CCTV camera installed to monitor the EVMs at the RN College counting center in Hajipur was shut down for a short while at night, raising fears of a major disturbance.
At the same time, RJD itself has shared a picture on its social media account of a large number of VVPAT slips being thrown near KSR College in Sarairanjan assembly constituency of Samastipur and has raised many big questions.
