ARA--------------------------An important review meeting was held today regarding preventive and security measures related to interstate border areas in preparation for the upcoming Bihar Assembly General Elections 2025. In preparation for the upcoming Bihar Assembly General Elections 2025, an important review meeting was held today under the chairmanship of District Election Officer and District Magistrate, Bhojpur, Tanay Sultania, regarding preventive and security measures related to interstate border areas. Present at the meeting were the Superintendent of Police, Bhojpur, Additional Collector, Ballia (Uttar Pradesh), Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ballia, Sub-Divisional Officers, Ara Sadar and Jagdishpur, Sub-Divisional Police Officers, Koilwar and Jagdishpur, and other relevant officials. During the meeting, various points were discussed in detail to ensure a peaceful and fair conduct of the elections. These included strict enforcement of the prohibition law, effective prevention of cross-border movement of illegal cash and criminal elements, further strengthening of security arrangements in sensitive and highly sensitive areas, continuous, active, and effective operation of checkpoints established along interstate and inter-district borders, and continuous monitoring through coordination.
