REVIEW MEETING OF JAL-HARIYALI ABHIYAN CONCLUDED

ARA--------------------------As per the instructions of District Officer Bhojpur, an important review meeting of Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan was organized in the Collectorate premises today. The objective of this meeting was to review the department-wise targets set for the financial year 2024-25 and 2025-26 and to issue guidelines for the effective implementation of the remaining schemes.

This meeting was chaired by Director DRDA Bhojpur, in which Director NEP, In-charge Officer Development Branch, District Information and Public Relations Officer, Agriculture Officer Bhojpur, District Project Officer – District Ganga Committee Bhojpur, Nodal Officer of Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan, Young Professionals, and senior officers of other departments were present.

In the meeting, emphasis was laid on ensuring daily entry on the portal from 1 April 2025 to 31 May 2026 under Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain (JSA: CTR – JSJB 2.0). The officials were directed that the water structures built under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan should be well planned and integrated, and their impact should be clearly visible at the ground level.

It was emphasized in the meeting that the implementation of Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan should not be limited to papers only, but its ground utility and sustainability should be ensured. All the departments were directed to give priority to the works that have solid and long-term impact at the regional level.

Along with this, it was decided that Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Day will be celebrated on the first Tuesday of every month, which should be organized with wide publicity at the district, block and panchayat level, so that its reach and awareness can be ensured among the general public.
