PATNA-----------------------Updated report has been sought, instructions to provide information on prescribed form from all districts and directorates without delay. Steps have been expedited towards preparing the priority list of regular Amins. Dr. Mahendra Pal, Additional Secretary, Revenue and Land Reforms Department has sent a letter in this regard to all the District Magistrates, Directors of Directorate of Land Records and Measurement, Directorate of Land Acquisition and Consolidation Directorate.

It has been mentioned in the letter that recently Bihar Amin Cadre Rules, 2025 has been constituted. Under its provisions, an integrated cadre of regular Amins working in the District, Land Acquisition, Consolidation and Land Records and Measurement Directorate is to be created. Along with this, their priority list is also to be maintained at the department level.

The department had directed all the officers to provide the necessary report in the prescribed form on August 6 itself, but till now this information has not been received. Showing seriousness on this, the department has once again requested all the districts and directorates to send immediate reports.

The Additional Secretary has said that the report related to regular Amins should be made available soon, so that the priority list can be determined on time. He has directed to deal with this work with top priority.

The Bihar government has recently constituted the Bihar Amin Cadre Rules, 2025. Under this, all regular Amins working in the District, Land Acquisition, Consolidation and Land Records and Measurement Directorate will be included in the integrated cadre. It is necessary to prepare their priority list at the departmental level. The promotion and service system of Amins will be based on this list. The integration of the cadre will ensure transparency and uniformity.
