ARA (RNI) Under the aegis of the 400-year-old Nagar Ramlila Committee, artists from Varanasi staged the Sita search, Shabari meeting, Sugreev meeting, and Bali slaying today. After Ravana abducted Sita, Rama and Lakshman wandered through the dense forest in search of her. In the forest, they encountered Shabari, a devoted devotee of Rama. Shabari fed both Rama and Lakshman her discarded berries. Shabari, who had been waiting for Rama at the behest of her guru, Matang Rishi, asked them to meet Sugreev. At Shabari's behest, Rama and Lakshman set off for the Tri-Shyamuk Mountains. On the mountain, they met Hanuman, a devotee of Rama. Hanuman introduced them to Sugreev, the king of the monkeys, and forged a friendship between them. Sugreev revealed that Bali had usurped his kingdom through deceit. Upon confronting Bali, his powers were restored. Rama then kills Balika to alleviate Sugreeva's distress. After killing Bali, Sugreeva, at Rama's request, takes Angad under his protection. After the rainy season passes, he, along with Anuma and Angad, sets out in search of Sita along with the monkey army.
It is a form of pure, selfless, and unwavering devotion to Lord Rama, which is considered a system within Navada Bhakti. Shabari's love embodies dedication and devotion, leading Lord Rama to accept her love by eating her stale fruit, a love that transcended all restrictions and social taboos. She waited for Lord Rama's arrival for a long time, picking fruits for him every day. Believing the words of Guru Matanga Rishi, Shabari dedicated her life to the devotion of Rama. Lord Rama tasted her stale fruit because he was moved by the pure emotion in Shabari's heart. Being from the Bhil community, they were considered inferior, but their love was so powerful that God embraced them.
The episode of Bali and Sugreev reveals that if brothers behave like brothers, there is no one greater than God; if the same brothers become enemies, there is no one greater than brother. The actors performed all these scenes very well.
