ARA---------------------------The NGO Rural Self-Employment Unnayan and Research Institute Redri celebrated Raksha Bandhan festival among the Musahar community. Raksha Bandhan, the festival of brothers and sisters, is celebrated on Shravan Shukla Purnima. Where sisters tie Raksha Sutra to their brothers and feed them sweets. The brothers also give gifts to their sisters according to their capacity. But children of economically weak families become sad on the festival. Therefore, the NGO Redri decided that Raksha Bandhan festival will be celebrated among the Musahar community. So that along with bringing happiness among the children of Seva Basti, work can also be done for social harmony. In this episode, Raksha Bandhan festival was celebrated by distributing sweets among the children of Musahar community in the presence of organization secretary Virendra Kashyap, member Pankaj Upadhyay, Nikku Ojha, Rohit Yadav and others.
