A sensation spread at Tiyara Baghelwa turn on Wednesday when a young man from Rajasthan, who had come with dreams of marriage, was cheated by a gang, and its members fled. Deepak Jaiswal, a resident of Alwar, reached Rajpur police station crying after being cheated under the pretext of a love marriage and narrated his ordeal. The police have started investigating the entire matter. Deepak said that a few weeks ago in Alwar, he had expressed his desire to get married to a truck driver. A few days later, he received a call on his mobile from a young man named Hariom from Buxar, who claimed that he would arrange his marriage.

Deepak, trusting him, spoke to Hariom several times on the phone and, convinced by his words, reached Buxar on December 2nd. Here, he was made to stay in a hotel, where people posing as the prospective bride and her family members met him. On Wednesday morning, he was taken out of the hotel and taken to Ramrekha Ghat, where he was made to take a bath in the Ganges. After this, the entire gang made him sit in a tempo and took him towards Chausa. Upon reaching Chausa market, the gang demanded a large sum of money from Deepak on the pretext of buying clothes.

Deepak contacted his family and transferred approximately 90,000 rupees. After this, the story became even more complicated. The alleged bride and her family members disappeared on the pretext of getting into the tempo, while one member of the gang made Deepak sit on a bike and headed towards Kochas.

Near Rajpur, at Tiyara Baghelwa turn, that young man also disappeared along with the bike on the pretext of buying sweets. Feeling cheated, Deepak sat down at the intersection and started crying. With the help of local people, he reached Rajpur police station and informed the police about the entire incident. Station house officer Niwas Kumar said that the victim's application has been received and an investigation has been launched to identify and arrest the fraud gang. He appealed to the public not to fall into the trap of unknown people in the name of marriage or any other lure.

Currently, the police are investigating the case from several angles, considering it to be the work of an organized fraud gang. It is noteworthy that similar incidents have been reported in Itadhi, Rajpur, and other police station areas in the past, raising suspicions that this might be an organized gang. However, it will only become clear after the arrest of the accused whether they have committed other similar crimes. Now, people's eyes are fixed on the police investigation, waiting to see when the police will expose the gang that extorted money from the young man from Rajasthan in the name of marriage.
