PUBLIC WILL NOT BE CHEATED WITH FALSE PROMISES: KUNAL

PATNA-----------------------CPI(ML) State Secretary Com. Kunal has said that as soon as the elections came, the BJP-JDU alliance has once again made a flurry of false promises, but this time the aware people of Bihar are not going to fall into the trap of these false promises.

He said that Bihar remains the most expensive state in the country in terms of electricity rates. On top of that, smart meters have broken the back of the common people. People across the state have been troubled by fake electricity bills, arbitrary charges and forced recovery. People are so unhappy with the experience of smart meters that they have rightly named it - #Bloodsucking_Meter. Even today, thousands of people are making rounds of the electricity department offices, but there is neither hearing nor relief.

Kunal said sarcastically that now when the BJP-JDU alliance is seeing its defeat, they have again thrown a new slogan - to give 125 units of free electricity to every family. It is also being claimed that one crore jobs will be given between 2025 and 2030. The question is that when they came to power by promising two crore jobs every year, then where did the 20 crore jobs go in the last 10 years?

He said that looting the public for 4.8 years in 5 years and making big announcements two months before the elections - this has become the formula of BJP-JDU. But the people of Bihar are not so naive now. They have understood that this is only a conspiracy to remain in power, not a serious plan for the welfare of the people.

Kunal also reminded that the MLAs of CPI(ML) have repeatedly raised their voice from the Vidhan Sabha to the streets.

He said that the INDIA alliance is serious about its every promise and resolution. Our aim is not just to make announcements but to bring about change on the ground.

At the end of the press statement, he strongly condemned the murder in broad daylight at Paras Hospital in Patna and said that the capital of Bihar has now turned into the capital of crime. The criminals are unbridled and the administration is a silent spectator.

He said that now the time has come for the people of Bihar to show this useless and plundering government the way out of power. The people have made up their mind for change and the INDIA alliance including the CPI(ML) is strongly with them in this fight for change.
