ARA---------------------------Excitement has intensified for the upcoming elections in the Shahpur assembly constituency of Bhojpur district. Speaking to media, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Rakesh Ojha claimed that the people of Shahpur now want positive change and are ready to see the lotus bloom in the assembly this time. He emphasized that this is the strong desire and voice of the people of the area.
In his statement, Ojha expressed deep dissatisfaction with the current regional situation. He said, "After just two days of rain, there is no village in the area left that is easily accessible. Every street is filled with mud, and the roads are no longer passable." He described this situation as evidence of the failure of the current MLA's 10-year tenure.
In a direct attack on the local MLA, Rakesh Ojha sharply commented on the "achievements" of the last 10 years. He said, "He certainly has a few achievements, the most prominent of which is the murder of my father, the late Visheshwar Ojha." Serious allegations were made, including the murder of witness Kamal Kishore Mishra, a scam worth ₹9 crore in Jawainiya village, protection of criminals, and the appointment of murderers as his star campaigners. He said, "These are his achievements."
Ojha further stated that the people of the Shahpur area are seeing that the current MLA is carrying criminals with him to intimidate the poor. Citing photographs, he said, "Court-convicted criminals are roaming around him. This is an attempt to intimidate the poor people, as you are showing. If the vote is rigged, look to our right and left."
However, Rakesh Ojha firmly stated that the people of Shahpur are fearless. Calling Shahpur the "land of heroes," he said that the people here will not be intimidated, whether by criminals or terrorists. He expressed confidence that the people of the Shahpur area will always vote for nationalism and will choose the lotus this time.
