PATNA----------------------In Bihar, the police will confiscate the illegal property of Rahimuddin alias Haber, leader of Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM. Till now Rahimuddin was the district president of Kishanganj, but after the matter came to light, he has been expelled from the party before the assembly elections (2025).

In fact, the police have started action against people who have acquired property illegally. Five such people of the district were also identified who have illegally made property worth crores. The list of five names was already sent to the police headquarters. Now action is being taken to submit a proposal in the court to confiscate the property acquired from crime. The proposal includes the names of drug dealers, sex trade brokers and persons who embezzled government money.

Haber, who was the district president of AIMIM, is accused of embezzling government money. In the year 2014, case number 188/14 was registered in Thakurganj police station. Before AIMIM, Haber was in RJD. Within a few days, he resigned from RJD and joined AIMIM. Later, he was made the district president of the party.

Action has also been initiated against Mohammad Qurban, a resident of Khagra in the city, who was involved in the prostitution business with Haber, and Chand Hussain alias Chand, a broker who runs the prostitution business in Bahadurganj Premnagar. Both have earned property worth crores from the prostitution business. Cases have been registered against these people in police stations.

On the other hand, the state president of the party Akhtarul Iman has expelled the district president Rahimuddin Haber. Akhtarul Iman has asked Haber to submit an explanation to the state office within a week regarding the allegations leveled against him.
