ARA-----------------------------The condition of electricity has become very bad these days in Chaukipur village of Udwant Nagar block of Bhojpur district of Bihar. The problem of low voltage has persisted in the village for the last several days, due to which the lives of common people have been badly affected.

The villagers told that due to the frequent power cuts and very low voltage, all the essential appliances running in their homes like fan, cooler, fridge, motor etc. have stopped working. Especially in the hot and humid season, it has become very difficult to live without a fan and cooler.

The people of the village told that the biggest problem is that due to the motor not running, there is a crisis of drinking water. People have to go here and there to fill water.

The villagers also told that this problem was complained to the electricity department many times, information was also given in writing, but no concrete steps have been taken so far. The department officials and employees are silent about this problem.

The electricians of the locality say that the transformer installed in the village has developed a fault. This electricity comes from the Japanese farm of Ara, from where the supply is not happening properly.

Due to this negligence, there is a lot of anger among the villagers. People say that children and the elderly are facing a lot of problems due to being without electricity throughout the night. At the same time, women and laborers are not able to rest after the fatigue of the whole day.

The prominent people of the village have warned together that if the electricity system is not fixed in the next 24 hours, then all the people of the village will come together on the road and protest.

Ramji Paswan, Anil Paswan, Surendra Paswan, Virendra Paswan, Rajendra Paswan, Bhola Paswan, Surendra Tiwari, Virendra Tiwari, Dhirendra Tiwari and other villagers have raised their voice regarding this problem.

The villagers have appealed to the government and the electricity department to get the transformer repaired as soon as possible and find a permanent solution to the problem of low voltage, so that they can get relief from daily troubles.

Even today the villages have to struggle for a basic facility like electricity, this is a serious and thought-provoking matter. The villagers are hoping that soon their voices will be heard and a solution will be found.
