PATNA-------------------------Politics of "gossip": Sanjay Jaiswal took a dig at Tejashwi Yadav's promise of government jobs, saying, "Tejashwi Yadav should explain how he bought a four-story house in New Friends Colony for only ₹450,000."
BJP MP Sanjay Jaiswal launched a scathing attack on social media over Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav's promise to provide a government job to one member of every family in Bihar. While returning from Patna to Bettiah late at night, Jaiswal called the promise "gossip" (gossip) and announced the formation of his own imaginary party, "Jansurji Janata Dal," whose election symbol would be "a broken lantern in a broken bag."
Jaiswal wrote in his post that he hadn't even recovered from the news of "Jansurji Netaji getting ₹11 crore for two hours of gossip" when Tejashwi Yadav made this "gossip" on behalf of the "Maha Thugbandhan."
In a sarcastic tone, Jaiswal criticized his imaginary party. He also announced a ridiculous cabinet decision upon coming to power. He said that the first decision he would make upon forming his government would be to replace the name of any Bihari with "Mr." or "Mrs.", but instead, "Crorepati." According to him, "In this way, every Bihari will become a millionaire in one fell swoop."
Not only this, Jaiswal challenged Tejashwi Yadav, asking him how he had purchased a four-story house in New Friends Colony for only ₹450,000. Jaiswal claimed that if Tejashwi revealed this "formula," every family in Bihar could borrow ₹4.5 lakh from the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana and buy a four-story house in areas like New Friends Colony or Greater Kailash in Delhi and earn ₹1.5 million in rent.
At the end of his post, Jaiswal clarified that he wrote this while traveling so late at night because "when all the opposition leaders are talking nonsense instead of making any real promises, I might as well write some nonsense to pass the time." Jaiswal clearly stated that he considers Tejashwi Yadav's promise to be just an election slogan, which has no connection with the ground.
