ARA-----------------------The police solved the murder of a newly married woman, Nirasha Kumari alias Durgavati, which took place on Sunday morning in the Agiaon Bazaar police station area of Bhojpur district, within just 12 hours. In this heartbreaking incident, the husband, Mani Kumar, killed his wife by shooting her due to a domestic dispute. The police took swift action and arrested the accused husband, who confessed to his crime during questioning.

Superintendent of Police Raj said that the country-made pistol used in the murder has been recovered based on the information provided by Mani Kumar. In addition, a live cartridge, an empty shell, and a pellet were also seized from the crime scene. The police are scientifically examining all these pieces of evidence to corroborate all aspects of the case.

The investigation also revealed that the accused Mani Kumar was previously involved in the illegal liquor trade and had even gone to jail in this connection. According to the police, there was a continuous dispute between Mani Kumar and his wife Nirasha Kumari alias Durgavati over some issue. Initial investigations suggest that Nirasha Kumari's opposition to her husband's illegal liquor business may have been the main reason for the dispute. On Saturday night, there was a fight between the two over the same issue, after which an enraged Mani Kumar shot his wife, resulting in her immediate death.

After the incident, Mani Kumar and his family members tried to mislead the police. They tried to tell the police that a young man named Chintu Rai, a resident of Tilath village, had shot and killed Nirasha Kumari through the window due to a dispute over borrowed money. However, Mani Kumar's constantly changing statements aroused suspicion in the police, and considering the seriousness of the case, an intensive interrogation was initiated.

Following the police's technical and scientific investigation and the intensive questioning of the accused Mani Kumar, the truth came to light. The Superintendent of Police clarified that based on all the evidence and confession, the husband Mani Kumar is indeed the murderer of his wife. A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered in this regard, and further legal action is underway.

It is worth noting that on Sunday morning, the wife of Mani Kumar, a resident of Agiaon Bazar village, was murdered under suspicious circumstances. At that time, Mani Kumar and his family members accused a young man named Chintu Rai, a resident of Tilath village, of shooting and killing her over a dispute regarding borrowed money. However, due to Mani Kumar repeatedly changing his statements, the case was considered suspicious, and an investigation was launched. This investigation led to the unraveling of the murder mystery.
