ARA------------------------------All the old mobile numbers (BSNL and Jio) of the police department in the district will be permanently closed after August 30. Now new Airtel company numbers have been made available to all the police officers and station heads of the district. Bhojpur Superintendent of Police Raj confirmed this and said that new numbers have been issued.

August 30, 2025, the old BSNL and Jio numbers will be completely inactive. In such a situation, if a person contacts the old numbers, he will not be able to connect with the police officers, so people have been requested to keep the new Airtel numbers published safe with them and report any problem or incident on these numbers.

Policemen used to face problems: Especially in the remote police stations of the district, the policemen were facing a lot of problems due to lack of network. Many times, in emergency situations, the police station in-charge and the concerned officials could not be contacted on time, which had a direct impact on law and order.

Public should contact on the new Airtel number: Airtel's network was found to be relatively better in both urban and rural areas of the district, so the department has chosen Airtel. The police department has appealed that the people of Bhojpur district should now directly contact the concerned police station in-charge or police officer on the new Airtel number for any kind of information, complaint or emergency. This will not only facilitate the general public, but the police administration will also be able to take quick action by getting timely information.

Till now, two different numbers were provided for police officers at the departmental level. In which one was of BSNL and the other was of Jio, but for a long time there was a serious problem in both the networks.
