POLICE ARRESTED AN ABSCONDER

ARA------------------------------Police have arrested another accused who was absconding in the murder case of an elderly woman, Roshni Bibi, in Dawan village of Jagdishpur police station area in Bhojpur district, which stemmed from a dispute over garbage. He was arrested from Dawan village within the police station limits. The arrested accused has been identified as Ankit Kumar, son of Parmeshwar Sah, a resident of Dawan village in the Jagdishpur police station area. The police are conducting raids to arrest the other absconding accused in this murder case.

It may be recalled that on Monday morning, a fight broke out between two groups in Dawan village over a dispute regarding garbage disposal. In the incident, Roshni Bibi and her sister-in-law from one side were injured. Two people from the other side also sustained injuries. However, Roshni Bibi died during treatment.

Based on the statement of the deceased's daughter, Saida Khatoon, a named FIR was registered against five people from the neighborhood. The police took swift action and arrested Anju Devi, wife of Parmeshwar Sah, her son Amritesh Prasad alias Vicky Kumar, and daughter Khushboo Kumari, all residents of Dawan village in the police station area, and sent them to jail.
