POETRY CONFERENCE ORGANIZED
-On September 14, 1949, the Indian Constituent Assembly accepted Hindi as the official language of India. Since then, this day is celebrated every year as Hindi Day. District Education Officer Madan Rai said this while inaugurating the symposium-cum-poetry conference organized by the Education Department on the occasion of Hindi Day.

SASARAM------------------------On September 14, 1949, the Indian Constituent Assembly accepted Hindi as the official language of India. Since then, this day is celebrated every year as Hindi Day. District Education Officer Madan Rai said this while inaugurating the symposium-cum-poetry conference organized by the Education Department on the occasion of Hindi Day. He said that Hindi is not only a language, but it is also an identity of our culture and unity. This language connects different parts of the country. Addressing the program, District Program Officer Rohit Roshan said that Hindi is not just a medium, but it is also our thinking, our identity, and our cultural heritage. It is also a testimony to linguistic diversity. Dr. Rajendra Prasad Singh, Principal of Rohtas Women's College, who was present as a speaker at the program, said that the main objective of celebrating Hindi Day is to promote the Hindi language and make people aware of its importance. Assistant Director of Social Security Nikkhu Ram, who attended the event, also won the audience's applause by reciting his profound poem. Renowned poets from Uttar Pradesh, Ahmed Azmi, Poonam Srivastava, and Fajihat Gahmari, along with poets from the district, including Saroj Kumar Pankaj, Akhtar Imam Anjum, Tanveer Akhtar, Lalan Singh Lalit, Dr. Vinod Mishra, Virendra Tiwari, and other poets, enthralled the audience with their poetry. Social worker Rampukar Pandey, alias Maan Baba, was also present at the event. The program was presided over by Dr. Gurucharan Singh, former Principal of SP Jain College and Vice President of the World Bhojpuri Conference, while it was conducted by renowned national poet Mateen Sasarami. The contributions of Pankaj Kumar and several other employees of the Education Department, in making the program a success, were highly commendable.
