PEACE COMMITTEE MEETING FOR DIPAWALI
-A peace committee meeting was held today in view of the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festivals. The meeting was jointly chaired by District Magistrate Bhojpur, Mr. Tanay Sultania, and Superintendent of Police, Bhojpur. The primary objective of the meeting was to maintain peace, harmony, and law and order in the district during the important festivals of Diwali and Chhath.

ARA-----------------------------A peace committee meeting was held today in view of the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festivals. The meeting was jointly chaired by District Magistrate Bhojpur, Mr. Tanay Sultania, and Superintendent of Police, Bhojpur. The primary objective of the meeting was to maintain peace, harmony, and law and order in the district during the important festivals of Diwali and Chhath.
During the meeting, District Magistrate Tanay Sultania stated that maintaining an atmosphere of peace and harmony in the district during Diwali and Chhath festivals is crucial, especially considering the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly General Elections 2025. He directed the Municipal Commissioner, Bhojpur, to ensure timely cleaning, lighting, and necessary repairs at all Chhath ghats. The concerned officer was instructed to inspect and repair the roads leading to the Chhath ghats.
The Superintendent of Police, Bhojpur, directed that the traffic police work diligently to ensure smooth traffic flow during the festival. He stated that any form of rumor or indiscipline will not be tolerated, and prompt action will be taken as needed. On this occasion all the Sub-Divisional Officers, Sub-Divisional Police Officers, Peace Committee members and other concerned officers were present.
