PATNA------------------------A show cause notice has been issued to Patna Municipal Corporation Mayor Sita Sahu. This notice has been issued by the Urban Development Department. After this, now Sita Sahu has been made the Mayor.

Patna Municipal Corporation is in the headlines these days. Meanwhile, now such news has come that it has started being said that Mayor Sita Sahu's chair is in danger. In such a situation, it becomes very important to know what is the reason behind this discussion, so let us first provide you this information that why it is being said about Sita Sahu that her chair is in danger.

A show cause notice has been issued to Patna Municipal Corporation Mayor Sita Sahu. This notice has been issued by the Urban Development Department. After this, now Sita Sahu has been asked to reply to the Mayor within seven days. If a satisfactory answer is not given, action will be taken under Section 68 (2) of the Municipality Act. Under this, the state government can take away the rights and powers of the Mayor and give it to a suitable person. After this, in the absence of the mayor, his responsibilities are handed over to the deputy mayor.

It is being told that, in the investigation report against Sita Sahu, it has come to light that she has disobeyed the departmental order, done irregular and unlawful work. The mayor has been given a notice under section 67A of the Bihar Municipality Act 2007. Despite the departmental ban, the mayor is accused of bringing proposals number 123, 124 and 125 in the corporation board meeting as a conspiracy and trying to get it passed.

Municipal Commissioner Animesh Parashar had written a letter to the department in this regard. On this, the department had constituted a two-member investigation committee. During the investigation itself, councilors Vinay Kumar Pappu, Geeta Devi, Dr. Ashish Sinha, Dr. Indradeep Chandravanshi and many other councilors also complained to the department against the mayor. In this too, the mayor was accused of disobeying the rules.

After this, now in the notice issued to Sita Sahu, it has been said that despite the departmental ban, the proposal was brought again on July 11, which is illegal and a violation of the departmental order. Apart from this, the meeting of the Corporation Board and the Empowered Standing Committee was not called regularly. The partial file of the 8th meeting of the Board was opened on February 11 itself. Doing this without the knowledge of the office raises suspicion.

It was decided unanimously that no scheme of any kind should be approved by the Patna Municipal Corporation without the approval of the Empowered Standing Committee and the Corporation Board. It was decided unanimously that any such decision including Amazing India, which is passed by the Empowered Standing Committee and the Corporation Board, should not be cancelled without bringing it before the Empowered Standing Committee and the Corporation Board, and the proposal is approved by the Corporation Board. It was decided unanimously that the Municipal Corporation's advocate and retainer Prasun Sinha is released from the service of the Corporation and the proposal to form a new panel for advocates is approved by the Corporation Board.
