Treatment is being done with expired medicines. It can be clearly seen in the pictures that Betadine, which expired in June 2025, is still being used.

ARA-----------------------------Ara Sadar Hospital is once again in the news. Where patients' lives are being played with and that too in emergency. Where hundreds of patients come for treatment every day. Treatment is being done with expired medicines. It can be clearly seen in the pictures that Betadine, which expired in June 2025, is still being used.
The saline administered to the patients has also expired last month. Still it is being used in the treatment of patients. Civil Surgeon Dr Shivendra Kumar Sinha is also trying to suppress the matter by giving evasive answers.
After this matter came to light, questions have started being raised on the working style of the hospital management. However, clarification has been given by the hospital administration regarding this entire incident. The management issued a statement saying that this matter was not in our knowledge. It will be investigated and action will be taken against those found guilty.
