ARA--------------------------Independent MP from Purnia Pappu Yadav's life was saved on Friday. While visiting the erosion area in Bhojpur, Pappu Yadav and the people around him escaped from being caught in the Ganga river.

In fact, when Pappu Yadav reached Jawainia village in Bhojpur on Friday, he started visiting the erosion area. During the inspection, where he was standing, there was a sudden severe erosion. Soon the ground started sinking and many houses got submerged in the Ganga. A situation of chaos arose. With the promptness of the villagers, the MP was safely evacuated from there. An accident was averted.

Pappu Yadav said - With the grace of God and the help of the villagers, my life was saved. I have come here to understand the pain of the people here. It is unfortunate that the erosion of the Ganga has been going on for many days, but the government and the administration have not taken any concrete steps so far.

Pappu Yadav posted on his social media account X and further wrote that Jawaniya village of Bhojpur, located just less than 100 KM from the capital Patna, has completely submerged, but the government is not aware of it! CAG has exposed a scam of seventy thousand crores, Jawaniya is an example of that loot. My friends along with the villagers survived drowning, the destruction has come from the looting done by the sand mafia under the protection of the ruling party. But there is no one to take care of the villagers suffering from the mafia-induced disaster. Election Commission should be asked whether these disaster victims should also be asked for voter certificates.
