The precise manner in which the thieves entered the house and committed the theft led villagers to suspect that the perpetrators had been closely monitoring the house's activities. Upon learning of the incident in the morning, a large crowd gathered. Villagers also demanded increased police patrolling to curb the increasing number of nighttime thefts.
Upon receiving the information, Station House Officer (SHO) Abhay Shankar Kumar arrived at the scene with a police force. They inspected the house, checked possible entry points, and gathered detailed information from the victim's family. The Station House Officer (SHO) stated that an FIR has been registered against unknown thieves after receiving a written application from the victim.
He added that taking this theft incident seriously, the police have formed a special investigation team. The team has begun conducting inquiries in the village and surrounding areas. According to the station in-charge, preliminary investigations have uncovered some important clues, which are expected to lead to the culprits. He also stated that the assistance of the FSL team will be sought to strengthen the scientific investigation.
The police claim that every effort is being made to solve the case quickly and recover the stolen goods.
However, an atmosphere of fear and insecurity has prevailed in the village since the incident, and people are expecting prompt action from the police.
