ARA------------------------BSSC has released bumper recruitment for 1481 graduate level posts, application starts from 18th August

A golden opportunity has come up for the youth preparing for government job in Bihar. Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released a detailed advertisement for the 4th Graduate Combined Competitive Examination. Under this recruitment campaign, a total of 1481 graduate level posts will be filled in various departments of the state.

According to the notification issued by the commission, the process of online application for these posts will start from August 18, 2025 and will run till September 17, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply in this stipulated period.

This recruitment includes many important posts in different departments. Out of total 1481 posts, 1358 vacancies are for general category candidates. The details of the main posts are as follows:

Assistant Branch Officer: 572 posts (Qualification: Graduate), Planning Assistant: 200 posts (Qualification: Graduate), Junior Statistical Assistant: 26 posts (Qualification: Graduate with Mathematics or Statistics), Data Entry Operator Grade-C: 166 posts (Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. Graduate in Computer Science or IT or PGDA/BCA/B.Sc (IT)), Auditor (Directorate of Auditing): 125 posts (Qualification: Graduate with Commerce, Statistics or Mathematics), Auditor (Cooperative): 825 posts (Qualification: Graduate with Mathematics or Commerce)

Age will be calculated on the basis of June 1, 2025, according to which the minimum age is 21 years. The maximum age limit is 37 years for unreserved male, 40 years for female and 42 years for SC/ST.

The application fee is Rs 540 for general, backward class and extremely backward class candidates (permanent resident of Bihar), while for SC/ST and Divyang candidates it is Rs 135. All candidates from outside the state of Bihar will have to pay a fee of Rs 540.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary and main examination. A total of 150 questions related to general studies, general science, mathematics and mental ability will be asked in the preliminary examination. 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for the wrong answer. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours 15 minutes.
