PATNA--------------------------Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken an important decision to provide more opportunities for government jobs and employment to the youth of the state. Now the fee for preliminary (PT) competitive examinations conducted by all the state-level commissions - Bihar Public Service Commission, Bihar Staff Selection Commission, Bihar Technical Service Commission, Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission and Central Constable Selection Board - has been reduced to only Rs 100.
The Chief Minister said that after passing the preliminary (PT) examination, no fee will be charged from the candidates appearing in the
main examination (Mains). This decision will provide relief to lakhs of candidates and reduce the financial burden.
He said, "It has been our priority to provide government jobs and employment to as many youth as possible in the state. With this step, the youth will be encouraged and will be able to achieve their goal.
