ONE YOUTH DROWNED IN A VILLAGE POND

BHABHUA-------------------------A 26-year-old youth died after drowning in a pond in Badiha village of Majhui Panchayat under Chainpur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Rohit Singh, son of Chandrabhan Singh, village Badiha.

According to family members, Rohit Singh had gone to sleep after having dinner at around 8 pm. But he was not found on his bed late at night. The family searched for him a lot around, but he could not be found.

In the morning, some people of the village informed that a dead body was lying in the pond located near the village. The family members who reached the spot identified the body as Rohit Singh. As soon as this information was received, there was chaos in the house. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body in their possession and sent it for post-mortem. At present, the police is engaged in investigating the whole matter.
