PATNA-----------------------The atmosphere suddenly heated up after a tragic road accident in Digha area of ​​the capital Patna on Tuesday. There was a fierce collision between a pickup van and an auto, in which many people were seriously injured. A local person died during treatment, after which angry people took to the road and started a ruckus.

The anger of the local people was so much that they blocked the main road and also set fire by burning tires at various places. People sitting on the road are shouting slogans against the government and administration demanding compensation. A crowd of thousands completely blocked the road, due to which the traffic system in Digha and surrounding areas collapsed completely.

The deceased has been identified as a local resident, which has spread more anger in the area. According to eyewitnesses, the collision was so strong that the passengers sitting in the auto jumped and fell away. Immediately after the incident, people from the vicinity reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Digha police station reached the spot. Police officials tried to pacify the protesters, but the anger of the crowd does not seem to be calming down at the moment. The administration has said that it will give compensation to the victim's family, but people are still adamant on demanding written assurance.

The situation is still tense, and a large number of police forces have been deployed to prevent any further mishap.
