ARA---------------------------A one-day Dharna was organized under the leadership of CPI (ML) in front of District Magistrate, Bhojpur against the Tughlaqi decree of the government to free the land from encroachment. A one-day Dharna was organized under the leadership of CPI (ML) in front of District Magistrate, Bhojpur against the Tughlaqi decree of the government to free the land from encroachment in Ara of Bhojpur district of Bihar. Former MLA Manoj Manzil said that the Tughlaqi decree has been issued by the Railway Department to vacate the land of the poor of Koilwar Nagar Panchayat in the name of encroachment, due to which the future of hundreds of people is in danger, even notices have been issued to many people settled on their Raiyat land. A one-day Dharna is being organized under the leadership of CPI (ML) in front of the District Magistrate demanding 5 decimal land and a permanent house along with making alternative arrangements for all the landless poor, in which the transgender community has participated enthusiastically, hundreds of men and women youth are involved. This protest will continue until we get full assurance, if no one comes for talks then we will block the road and surround the District Magistrate.

Khushboo Kinnar said that we have been living on railway land in Koilwar for more than 20 years which is situated on the banks of Son river, we have always been victims of discrimination, if our house is destroyed then where will we go. The government should arrange 5 decimal land and a permanent house for us, add our name in the voter list, our Aadhar card should be made, from where should we bring the papers, do we not have the right to live in this country. Even if the government runs a bulldozer on us, but we will not let our house be demolished without making alternative arrangements. Manju Kinnar, Priya Kinnar, Khushboo Kinnar, Kalpana Kinnar and Shila Kinnar addressed the protest.

After about 5 hours of protest, SDM Bhojpur held talks and assured that no one's house will be demolished nor the land will be vacated, everyone will be provided land and houses will be built under the housing scheme.

CPI-ML Central Committee member and former Agiaon MLA Comrade Manoj Manzil, Barhara Assembly in-charge Nand Kumar, Koilwar Block Secretary Vishnu Thakur, District Committee member Vishal Kumar, Sanjay Chaudhary, Surendra Sah, Khushboo Kinnar, Anju Kinnar, Manju Kinnar, Priya Kinnar, Kalpana Kinnar, Shila Kinnar, Kamlesh Kumar, Ajit Singh Bhagirath Manjhi and hundreds of others were present in the protest.
