ARA----------------------------Sub-Divisional Officer Krishna Kumar Upadhyay presented certificates of appreciation to all administrative officers, police officers, BLOs, Jeevika Didis, and Vikas Mitras who made significant contributions to conducting the Tarari Assembly elections fairly and peacefully and ensuring the success of the SIR (Special Summary Revision) work. On this occasion, the SDO stated that despite the initial poor performance during the SIR revision and administrative pressure, a new record was set in Bihar by uploading 57,000 forms in just one day, for which all BLOs were commended. He said that receiving the lowest number of claims and objections in the district in Tarari block is a matter of pride, and the credit goes to the BDO and the BLO team. The SDO further added that there were no clashes or disturbances anywhere throughout the entire election, which is a testament to the efforts of all police officers and the security arrangements. This time, the number of preventive actions under Section 126 of the BNS (Bihar Election Act) was increased from 3000 to 5500 in the assembly elections, which created a climate of fear among troublemakers and ensured peaceful polling. He praised the Jeevika groups and election personnel, saying that their efforts led to an increase in the voter turnout from 51% to 64%, which is a great achievement for the Tarari Assembly constituency.
