NSUI ORGANIZED MAHA DHARNA AT VKSU

ARA----------------------------National Student Organization of India (NSUI) Bhojpur District Unit organized a Maha Dharna today at Veer Kunwar Singh University's New Campus regarding the problems of students. The Dharna was chaired by NSUI Bhojpur District President Abhishek Tiwari alias Golu Tiwari and conducted by Ranjan Ojha.

In the Dharna, issues like lack of basic facilities for students related to universities and colleges, administrative negligence, delay in exam results, fee discrepancies etc. were prominently raised.

Addressing the Dharna, Satyam Kushwaha, National Secretary, All India Congress Committee cum Bihar Incharge (NSUI) said that I salute the students of Veer Kunwar Singh University, who registered protest in a democratic manner against injustice, arbitrariness and corruption. This struggle is a symbol of the fact that the youth will not sit silent now. The Congress Party has always been the voice of students, youth and the poor, and we will stand with you on every platform.

Addressing the Dharna on this occasion, Abhishek Tiwari said that the problems of the students are being constantly ignored by the university administration. If the solution is not found soon, the student organization will hold a fierce agitation from the road to the House. If there is loot and dictatorship in the temples of education, then there will be darkness, not knowledge, and we will never let this darkness flourish. Your struggle is our resolve.

At the same time, Dr. Amit Kumar Dwivedi- Former President, NSUI (Veer Kunwar Singh University) attacked the dictatorial attitude, arbitrary decisions and corruption of the Vice Chancellor of the University Shailendra Chaturvedi and said- The tenure of the Vice Chancellor will be known for the exploitation of students and anarchy in the history of the university. We cannot tolerate this anymore.

Dr. Sridhar Tiwari Delegate- Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee accused the university administration of gross neglect of the basic facilities of the students and warned that if concrete action is not taken soon, the student organization will be forced to launch a movement at the state level.

During the protest, a respectable dialogue was held between the NSUI delegation and the university's Dean and other officials, in which a written assurance was given to take necessary action on all major demands within a month.

Prominent among those who addressed the protest were Prashant Ojha, Abhishek Dwivedi, Bhanu Pratap Singh alias Mukul Singh, Dhananjay Babuan, Lucky Ojha, Avinash Mishra, Guddu Pandey, Anand Tiwari, Anshu Kumar, Manish Yadav, Saket Tiwari, Krishna Hari, Sandeep Kumar, Sumit Kumar, Yasin Umar, Siddharth Choubey, Ravi Kumar, Anshu Bajrangi, Ravi Kumar, Vicky Ojha, Ritesh Pandey, Ashutosh Ojha and dozens of students were present.
