NOTORIOUS CRIMINAL ARRESTED IN DOUBLE MURDER

ARA---------------------------The team of Koilwar police station of Bhojpur arrested a notorious criminal wanted in double murder, robbery and firing case. He was arrested on Monday evening near Ramna Maidan of Town police station area. The arrested criminal is Vikas Kumar alias Vikas Yadav, son of Bhalu Rai alias Tarkeshwar Rai, resident of Manachak village of Koilwar police station area. SP Raj gave this information.

He told that the police had received secret information that the criminal wanted in double murder, robbery, dacoity and other cases has been seen in Town police station area. After verification of the information, Koilwar police station in-charge Narottam Chandra reached Ara with police force and arrested him near Ramna Maidan.

Let us tell you that on the night of May 1 last year, firing was done at Gadhiya sand ghat of Kamaluchak Diara of Koilwar police station area for supremacy and extortion, in which two laborers of Saran working at the sand ghat were killed. In the course of investigation, the police had brought the name of Vikas Kumar alias Vikas Yadav. Apart from this, about a dozen cases including murder, robbery, dacoity, firing and Arms Act are registered against him in Koilwar police station and he was absconding since that time.
