ARA---------------------------Preaching on the eighth day of the Navratri worship organized by Shri Sanatan Shaktipeeth Sansthanam and Sanatan-Surasari Seva Nyas in Friends Colony, Acharya Dr. Bharat Bhushan Ji Maharaj said that Navratri fasting fulfills all the best wishes in the world, along with the attainment of devotion to God. Based on the Srimad Devi Bhagwat, he said that capable people should definitely fast during both Sharadiya and Vasantik Navratris. Those who are unable to fast for nine days can reap the benefits of nine days of worship by fasting on just three days: Saptami, Ashtami, and Navami. Acharya said that the Navratri fast is broken on Dashami. Worship during these nine days provides renewed energy and a new perspective on various areas of life. Jagadamba is nature, and Shiva, meaning the one who brings welfare or the embodiment of welfare, is the embodiment of welfare. Worshiping her instills a sense of respect and well-being for all living beings. Our lives are guided by scriptures, leading to our progress. Divine qualities triumph over demonic tendencies, fostering discipline and elevated thinking. The Acharya stated that fasting, especially Navratri fasting, provides a way to protect nature and the environment while maintaining a life in harmony with them. On this occasion, prayers were offered for the welfare and well-being of all by worshipping Goddess Durga, the Supreme Being.
