ARA--------------------------A press conference was organized by the Youth Hostels Association of India, Bihar State Branch, at the Jubilee Hall of Sambhavna Residential High School. During the press conference, the outline of the National Family Camp to be held at Valmiki Tiger Reserve in West Champaran, Bihar, from December 13 to 15, 2025, was shared. The Shahabad unit, which has organized several national events in the past, is once again going to organize a national-level family camp. This is a matter of pride for the region.

In the press conference, State Vice President Dr. Archana Singh and Shahabad Unit Chairman Ramakant Sinha jointly stated that the Youth Hostels Association has been making a significant contribution for the past 76 years in bringing the country closer to nature, connecting youth and families with adventure training, environmental awareness, and trekking activities.

A total of 25 families from Bihar, West Bengal, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Karnataka will participate in the upcoming camp. This camp will focus on jungle safari, nature study, biodiversity, environmental conservation, night camping, and adventure activities. Shahabad unit secretary Sonu Kumari informed that Program Director Ramakant Sinha, Field Director Gopi Amma K.M., Program Coordinator Kamlesh Kumar Singh, Program Convener Munna Kumar, Camp Leaders Akhouri Ravindra Kumar and Neeli Rani have been given the responsibility for the success of the event.

Dr. Archana Singh, Vice President of the Youth Hostels Association of India, Bihar State Branch, said that Valmiki Tiger Reserve is called the Kashmir of Bihar. This opportunity will showcase the state's natural wealth at the national level. She said that such National Family Camps will play a significant role in creating new opportunities for Bihar's tourism potential, especially in the field of eco-tourism, in the coming times. Shahabad Unit Chairman Ramakant Sinha said that this event is not only an exchange of excitement and experiences, but it is also a big step towards giving Bihar a strong identity on the national adventure tourism map.
