ARA-------------------------Raising the issue of mental, physical and financial loss to the candidates related to software failure, biometric error, wrong center allocation, exam cancellation etc. during the examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission from 24 July to 1 August during the Zero Hour in the Monsoon Session of Parliament, he demanded necessary action against the guilty people and compensation to the candidates. The MP said that the Staff Selection Commission gave the contract of conducting the examination to an inexperienced agency. This agency had no experience of conducting the examination. Due to which the agency completely failed to make necessary arrangements for a large number of candidates. Disruption occurred due to reasons like software failure, biometric error etc. just before the examination. During this time, the candidates were also mistreated. There is a feeling of extreme disappointment among the candidates who were deprived of the examination after traveling 400 to 500 kilometers and spending thousands of rupees. The candidates who have suffered loss of travel expenses, accommodation and opportunity should be given adequate compensation to compensate for it. Besides, an impartial enquiry should be conducted into the failure of the Staff Selection Commission in the vendor selection process and examination conduct.
