ARA-----------------------Ganga Utsav program was organized by District Ganga Committee Bhojpur. As the chief guest of this program, Deputy Development Commissioner Bhojpur, Deputy Development Commissioner Bhojpur, Nodal Officer District Ganga Committee Bhojpur, District Coordinator Lohia Swachh Mission, Bhojpur, District Project Officer, District Coordinator ITC jointly inaugurated the program of lighting the lamp. This festival was organized by District Ganga Committee Bhojpur, various competitions and cultural programs were organized in Women's College and Kabaddi Competition, Ganga Aarti and Deep Utsav were organized at Mahuli Ganga Ghat. Deputy Development Commissioner Bhojpur said that the main objective of organizing the Ganga Utsav program is to keep the river clean and make the general public aware about its upliftment, conservation and continuity. The presentation of the cultural program in the festival being held under the aegis of District Ganga Committee Bhojpur was very enchanting and attractive. In this, the artist gave a glimpse of Ganga and the district through his presentation. I express my gratitude to the members of District Ganga Committee for the special event. The Nodal Officer of District Ganga Committee Bhojpur said that since 2017, Ganga Utsav is organized every year to commemorate the anniversary of the declaration of Ganga River as 'National River'. Cultural and many competitions have been organized on the occasion of this Ganga Utsav festival being celebrated all over the country. Activities organized include cultural programs of school children, various competitions, presentation of people working in various social fields and big programs like this were organized. The District Project Officer said that Ganga Aarti and Deep Utsav on Ganga Utsav Day were the main attractions of Ganga Mahotsav. During this festival, hundreds of diyas were immersed by the devotees in the holy water of River Ganga, which was an unforgettable scene. Along with this, Ganga dance drama and village presentation of Namami Gange in the cultural program were mind-blowing. Apart from this, the main features of Ganga Mahotsav included Ganga awareness bicycle rally, general knowledge, painting rangoli competition, etc.
