The Ara-Nawada police station has achieved a significant breakthrough in its ongoing crackdown on illegal weapons. Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid and arrested a mother and son with weapons and ammunition. The arrests took place on Friday in Ramnagar Chandwa, in the police station area. During the search, a country-made pistol and three cartridges were recovered from their home. Nawada Station House Officer Vipin Bihari stated that the police received a tip-off that Shakuntala Devi had hidden illegal weapons in her home.
