Today, a block level workers' meeting was organized at the Barhara block headquarters under the leadership of RJD leader Ram Babu Singh alias Ashok Kumar Singh. ARA--------------------------Under the ambitious scheme "Mai Behin Samman Yojana" launched by the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), work is progressing rapidly in Barhara block. Today, a block level workers' meeting was organized at the Barhara block headquarters under the leadership of RJD leader Ram Babu Singh alias Ashok Kumar Singh. RJD presidents and workers up to the panchayat level attended this meeting.
In the meeting, Ram Babu Singh said that this scheme, being run under the leadership of RJD national leader Tejashwi Yadav, is for the empowerment and respect of women. He said that "Tejashwi ji has promised that as soon as the government is formed, a monthly amount of ₹ 2500 will be sent to the account of every mother and sister above 18 years of age. For this purpose, we are reaching every panchayat and booth level."
He informed that so far more than 25,000 forms have been distributed among the workers in the panchayats of Barhara block and the enthusiasm of women is giving energy to this campaign. He said that right now the forms are being filled offline which will be uploaded online later.
RJD Block President Prabhunath Rai said that this scheme shows Tejashwi Yadav's commitment towards women. He told that we have set a target to deliver the forms to all 37 panchayats of Barhara in the next 10 days.
At the same time, Block RJD President Jairam Rane said that this work is part of the party's strategy, so that no eligible woman is deprived of the scheme.
During the meeting, the regional officer of RJD from Patna also gave training to the workers and told how to do the process of filling the form smoothly. He is also monitoring by constantly staying in touch with the regional workers.
This campaign is not only a step towards empowering mothers and sisters, but is also strengthening the ground hold of RJD.
